Last week I had my wisdom teeth removed and a good coaching buddy of mine was murdered. That sucked.

This week the weather has been nicer, my athletes have been performing well, and I got to play with babies yesterday. Much better :)

Yesterday I got trapped in a courthouse when some fucking lunatic decided to unload a semi-automatic pistol about 5 minutes before my hearing. and then my car got dinged by CNN news crew.

But today I noticed now they have Reese Pieces in the vendng machine on the 9th floor, so I guess we're moving in the right direction. I'm sure Sicily is the next logical step.

took a mini vacation to the beach with Cris and the kids this past weekend.. still focusing on getting fit again... nothing much new

I had to drive ~400 miles today in a big van that had no cruise control (I normally drive a small car with cruise control) to pick up wine that wouldn't sell at one place, and deliver it to two other places that it... won't sell at.

But, I also got to drink an awesome $45 Barolo today (Lo Zoccalio '03; it was amazing after going through a Vinturi two times, resting in a decanter for an hour or so in between. It was all plums and violets and smoke, with an interesting note of cream.). Hey, Piemonte is at least the same country, even if it is about as far away from Sicily as one can get... (and, in fairness, I did have a really good Sicilian wine a couple weeks ago... Mmm, negroamaro... jammy-juicy lovlieness).
